  ACCR COMMITTEES  

The Allegheny County Coalition for Recovery relies on various committees that support the principles of recovery and the priorities of the Coalition.

If you are interested in giving a few hours of your time each month to serve as a member of one of the committees listed below, you may register by completing the Getting Involved Form.

Child and Family Committee

Promotes recovery and resiliency practices in services to children, youth and families.

Addresses recovery issues related to children and families. The Child and Family Committee has created the following documents:

  • Guidelines for Developing Resiliency for Children and Families
  • Resiliency/Recovery Crosswalk
  • Child and Family will not meet during the month of March. We will have a resource table at the Community Care Conference on Tuesday March 23, 2010 at the Omni William Penn to roll out our new R/ROS Toolkit!

     

    C-P Collaborative

    Holds dialogues between providers and receivers of services to increase communication and understanding.

    Facilitates communication between users and providers. The C-P Collaborative has created the following documents:

  • Consumer-Provider Dialogues: Guidelines for Preparation
  • Consumer - Provider Collaborative Mission and Contact Information
  • 3rd Friday of the month

    Education Committee

    Membership Committee

    The Membership Committee recruits new members from a across a broad spectrum of stakeholders for all of ACCR. The Committee mentors and support current membership and retains membership through regular contact & annual appreciation events.
